So how can you make your article worth reading?
It’s all about the angle…
You are about to write an article. Your reasons are your own. Maybe it’s a promotional article to gain publicity. Maybe it’s a contribution to a company newsletter or journal. Maybe you just want to write articles for fame, fortune, or both…
No matter why you’re writing an article, it’s your responsibility to make it interesting.
So how can you make your article worth reading? It’s all about the ANGLE.
First pick your topic. For example, let’s say your topic
is something that many people may find themselves yawning about. We hear a lot about diet pills. How can you “spice up” your topic? You need an angle!
Then you need to decide what aspect of the thing you want to write about. Are you selling diet pills? Lots of people are. Is there anything new or particular interesting in the world

Do titles like - Welcome to My Website or Home of Professional Writer Lisa Smith - really tell viewers anything about you or what your site has to offer?
You want to develop a tag line that describes you and your website. Your title should be creative and make an impression on your visitors.
If you want them to remember you, you need to choose a name that will grab their attention.

Do you have a problem creating a focus in your chapters? Does your writing slip around, leaving a muddy path to the gold–your unique, useful message?

1. Make your book a #1 best seller on Amazon. This idea teaches authors that if they offer $1000’s of bonus books, reports and the like, and tell all their email lists to buy the book on a particular day at Amazon, they will make extreme sales.
In many sales letters that give away $1000’s more than the price of their book, it looks a little suspicious or gimmicky. “Killer copy” and other web sizzle language doesn’t bring confidence to most business people. The programs sold are over $2000.

In the 7th grade I wanted to be an architect but it turns out math is involved. Who knew? My 8th grade English teacher talked me into working on the school newspaper and I was hooked. It seemed like easy lifting compared to architecture.
This quote from newspaper columnist Russell Baker sort of sums up how I felt about writing as a career:
“The only thing I was fit for was to be a writer, and this notion rested solely on my suspicion that I would never be fit for real work, and that writing didn’t require any.”

Your query letter can be a deal maker or a deal breaker. So, if your query letter just lies there, you’ve killed the sale immediately or your story or novel immediately. If you want that story — your baby — to be read, reach out of that query letter, grab the publisher, editor or literary agent by the neck and say, “Hey, you absolutely have to have this story!”

It occurred to me one day that I needed something to do with my time when I wasn’t writing. You know–something to divert myself so more writing ideas could come to mind. One cannot sit in front of the computer screen all day waiting for an idea to come knocking at the door and say,
“Here I am.”
For one thing, to do so will result in your eyes eventually turning to oatmeal and melting right out of your head. And, if that happens, you won’t be able to write anything.
Second, you’ll just whine and cry like a baby because you cannot think of anything to write. Your wife will yell at you.

Aside from fielding and asking questions, there are other ways of analyzing audience attention and feedback. Unfortunately most trainers are unaware of these methods or feel audience analysis is not really all that effective or important. Nothing could be further from the truth. Analysis is the main tool for what is known as the “functional approach” this dictates that you always seek to measure your progress toward an objective as well as the accomplishment itself. Without the ability to analyze feedback, trainers may have unrealistic or false impressions about the progress being made in the presentation, and thus will be uncertain or wrong in determining their success.
